1. Integration and
Development Center for Information and Research
The Center was created in July 1997. Its goal is the promotion
of the open civil society development in the Crimea, democratic
relations formation by the way of conducting various researches
and its results inculcation, holding seminars, conferences,
publications in newspapers, magazines. The Center's activities
are financed through its members sponsorship, private donations
and grants of charitable foundations.
2. Crimean
ethnographical museum (CEM)
It
was opened in 1992 as an affiliate of the Crimean republican
museum of local lore, history and economy. Today CEM is one
of the leading scientific and cultural-educational establishments
of the Crimea. Collection of CEM amounts more than 7000 exhibits.
CEM plays a unique role in system of museum establishments of
the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea. This is the place where
the information on ethnography and culture of the Crimean peoples
is presented in the most complete way. That's why it can be
considered a 'model' of the Crimea, a unique guidebook of its
peoples and cultures.
The exhibition "Mosaic of Crimean cultures" has been opened
since 1999. The total exhibit place was enlarged in 2006 and
now it totals 500 square meters. The exhibition shows the way
of living, customs, traditions and holidays of 19 Crimean peoples.
Armenians, Bulgarians, Belorussians, Crimean Roma, Crimean Tatars,
Czechs, Estonians, French, Germans, Greeks, Italians, Jews,
Karaytes, Krymchaks, Mordovians, Poles, Russians, Swiss, Ukrainians
